Overview
Infusion Pharmacist Supervisor – Hinsdale – Infusion Therapy. Full-time 40 hours. Monday-Friday 7:30-5 with rotating weekends. Location: Hinsdale. Position directs and coordinates daily operations of Infusion Pharmacy staff, participates in patient care, ensures compliance, manages staff performance, supports departmental budget goals.

Responsibilities
Direct daily operations of Infusion Pharmacy staff; supervise performance, schedule, coaching.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, local pharmacy regulations and oncology competencies.
Manage inventory control, purchasing, receiving, and stocking of medications and supplies.
Provide drug information, therapeutic consults to interdisciplinary team, conduct educational in-services.
Identify and recommend process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, and clinical outcomes.
Participate in hiring, employee relations, mentoring, recruitment; minimize patient delays; resolve patient and provider concerns.
Qualifications
Current Illinois State Pharmacy License (required) with no restrictions.
BS Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
Minimum 3-5 years of Infusion Pharmacy experience.
Ability to interpret and evaluate chemotherapy and non-chemotherapy treatment protocols.
Proficiency in hazardous medication management, clean room operations, and drug interaction evaluation.
Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in pharmacy systems and word processing applications.
Knowledge of third-party reimbursement programs and inventory management.
Understanding of USP, HIPAA, OSHA, and related pharmacy regulations.
Demonstrated professionalism, accountability, and initiative.
Preferred: Board of Pharmacy Specialty in BCSCP or BCOP.
Compensation Base pay range $116,459 – $175,688. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
