Position Summary
The Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on company‑operated aircraft in compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company policies. This position ensures that all aircraft are maintained in an airworthy condition and ready for safe flight operations under Part 135 standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and component replacements on company aircraft and associated systems (airframe, powerplant, avionics, and ground support equipment).
Conduct progressive and phased inspections per manufacturer and regulatory requirements.
Ensure all maintenance actions are properly documented in accordance with 14 CFR Part 43 and company maintenance procedures.
Maintain and update aircraft maintenance records, logs, and discrepancy lists in digital or paper format as required.
Collaborate with flight crews, dispatch, and operations personnel to resolve maintenance issues efficiently and minimize aircraft downtime.
Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and manufacturer maintenance programs.
Assist in maintaining shop tools, equipment, and facilities in a clean and serviceable condition.
Participate in company safety meetings, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide on‑call and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) support as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum 2 years of experience in general aviation, corporate, or charter maintenance.
Strong understanding of 14 CFR Parts 43, 65, and 135 regulations.
Proficient with aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and digital documentation systems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced operational environment.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and recordkeeping skills.
Preferred:
Experience with Embraer Phenom 100 and 300, Challenger, or Gulfstream.
Familiarity with CAMP and Traxxall maintenance tracking systems.
Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to obtain airport security clearance.
Working Conditions
Work performed in hangar, ramp, and occasionally remote field environments.
Requires lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods.
May require evenings, weekends, or on‑call availability to support flight operations.
