Senior Star is seeking an exceptional leader and passionate senior living leader to lead the Assisted Living community at Elmore Place, a Senior Star community! Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced
Assisted Living Director
to lead our dedicated team in providing exceptional care to our residents with memory challenges. As the Assisted Living Director, you will oversee all aspects of the Assisted Living program, ensuring the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of our residents. This role is pivotal in fostering a nurturing environment and leading a team of care professionals to deliver top-tier services. Key Responsibilities: Program Management:
Oversight of all aspects of Assisted Living, including care plan meetings, family and associate satisfaction, quality assurance and performance improvement (reviewing all incidents and trends), performance review, assists in coordinating resident services and assists with Leasing and Marketing efforts. Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and supervise Assisted Living staff, training and modeling expectations for all-day purposeful, meaningful engagement with residents, as well as train and model expectations for residents' successful Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and dining experience. Family Engagement:
Act as the primary point of contact for families, providing education, support, and regular communication regarding their loved ones’ care. Quality Assurance:
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care programs, continuously seeking to improve the quality of life for residents. Staff Development:
Provide ongoing education and training to staff in assisted living facility and memory support best practices. Compliance:
Ensure the community complies with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures. Qualifications: Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in assisted living or senior living management, with a deep understanding of Alzheimer’s and dementia care. Certifications:
RN License required and Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) or similar certification is a plus. Skills:
