Cardiovascular Technician
Schedule
10‑hour shifts, including Saturdays and multiple days.
Must work at CSMM and CSMO.
One call night per week and one call weekend every 4th‑5th weekend.
Hospital: Columbia St. Mary’s Milwaukee (Ozaukee travel required).
Location: 2301 N Lake Drive Milwaukee, WI 53211.

Responsibilities
Assist with procedures to analyze, diagnose and treat the cardiovascular system.
Prepare patients for procedures, review medical history, position patients, and prepare testing sites.
Interpret, describe, and report test results; recognize recording errors and artifacts and respond appropriately.
Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures and promptly report any abnormal findings.
Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and laboratory area.
Ensure equipment operates properly; report potential problems or malfunction to appropriate personnel. Lock/tag out equipment if appropriate.
Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department.
Requirements
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
One or more of the following preferred:
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
Cardiographic Tech credentialed from CCI.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); general radiography required; State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiology Examining Board required within 18 months of hire/transfer date.
Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
Education
High school diploma/ equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job‑specific experience.
