GCP Developer / GCP Data Engineer with Informatica

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced
GCP professional with strong Informatica expertise
to design, develop, and manage cloud-based data integration and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services ,
ETL pipelines , and
data management using Informatica
to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement
data integration workflows and ETL pipelines
on GCP using Informatica Cloud or Informatica PowerCenter.
Build and optimize
data ingestion, transformation, and storage
solutions using GCP services such as
BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Dataproc , and
Composer .
Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Develop and maintain
data quality, validation, and governance frameworks .
Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize Informatica mappings, workflows, and GCP data pipelines.
Automate data processes and monitoring using
Cloud Functions, Airflow (Composer)
or other orchestration tools.
Ensure
data security, compliance, and best practices
in cloud data management.
Participate in
code reviews ,
architecture discussions , and
deployment planning .
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
5–8 years
of experience in
data engineering, ETL, or cloud data management .
Strong hands‑on experience with
Informatica (PowerCenter, Cloud, or IICS) .
Proficiency in
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
— especially
BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and IAM .
Knowledge of
SQL, Python, or Shell scripting .
Experience with
data warehousing concepts , performance tuning, and large‑scale data migrations.
Familiarity with
CI/CD pipelines
and version control (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
Preferred Qualifications:
GCP certification is a plus.
Experience integrating
Informatica with GCP native services .
Exposure to other cloud environments (AWS/Azure) is advantageous.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
