Blue Chip Talent , in partnership with a leading automotive technology organization, is seeking a skilled
Automated Test Engineer . This role is responsible for developing and deploying custom automated test systems for complex electronic control units (ECUs), ensuring functionality across telematics, infotainment, ADAS, battery management, and more.
Job Duties
Collaborate with electronics design teams to define test requirements and strategies
Develop automated test sequences in Python using an internal framework
Create clear, well-documented test cases and operational procedures
Integrate automation hardware, including power supplies, DMMs, analyzers, and multiplexers
Partner with cross-functional teams to meet validation, EMC, and product launch requirements
Support deployment and maintenance of ATE systems at manufacturing facilities
Interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and component datasheets for test development
Ensure robust, scalable test solutions for high-volume production environments
Skills & Experience Required
BS/MS in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience
5+ years designing automated test equipment (ATE) for electronics
Proficiency in Python programming
Strong understanding of test instrumentation: power supplies, DMMs, signal analyzers/generators, and multifunction I/O devices
Ability to interpret electrical schematics and PCB layouts
Familiarity with automotive communication protocols: CAN, CAN-FD, DoIP, Automotive Ethernet, LIN
Experience in the automotive, aerospace, or semiconductor industry
Background in validation testing for complex electromechanical systems
Knowledge of EMC or environmental testing standards
Familiarity with electromechanical fixture design or test automation hardware
