We help nonprofits, advocacy organizations, political campaigns, and philanthropic institutions understand public opinion, shape narratives, and design strategies that move people and policy.
The Role We’re seeking an entry-level Strategist to join our polling and research team. This position will support survey development, polling analysis, and the production of client deliverables that turn data into actionable political strategy. Working closely with the Senior Strategist and Founding Partner in charge of polling and research, the Strategist will gain hands‑on experience in public opinion research specifically and political consulting more broadly.
The Work
Drafting and refining questionnaires, toplines, and crosstabs
Working with the Founding Partner and Senior Strategist to analyze polling data and synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights
Executing on producing a suite of client deliverables, including but not limited to polling memos, presentation decks, and focus group reports
Conducting extensive research and writing on a range of special projects
Strategic planning, campaign management, and organizational skills
Qualifications
A four‑year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Demonstrated interest and exposure to domestic politics (e.g., campaigns, think‑tanks, government offices)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Basic quantitative skills and comfort working with data
Strong writing and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
Strong communication, public speaking, and presentation abilities
Nice to Have
Familiarity with Statistics
An interest in global affairs
Compensation
$65,000‑$75,000
