Your New Role STV is seeking an innovative and entrepreneurial

Construction Project Director

to lead and scale high‑impact

data center construction projects

for our PM/CM National Operating Group. In this

seller‑doer, Director‑level role , you will be accountable for both

project delivery excellence

and

market sector expansion

within the data center and mission‑critical infrastructure space across the United States.

As a Project Director, you will serve as a

trusted advisor and facilitator

between owners, general contractors, architectural/engineering teams, equipment manufacturers, and construction managers‑delivering complex, high‑tech, "first‑of‑its‑kind" infrastructure. Your broad expertise across all phases of design and construction management will be complemented by a laser focus on cost, scope, schedule, quality, risk, and safety performance.

What You'll Contribute Responsibilities

Serve as a

visible leader

in the data center sector, representing STV in industry forums and client engagements.

Lead

multi‑site project teams , managing utilization, budgets, and forecasting financial performance.

Apply deep expertise in

project controls, contract management, and delivery methods , ensuring alignment with STV’s standards and client expectations.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute

staff augmentation strategies

that support current and future project demands—ensuring the right talent is deployed to meet evolving client needs.

Champion an

Injury‑Free Environment , modeling safety‑first behaviors and mentoring others to uphold STV’s safety standards.

Demonstrate strong capabilities in

client engagement, stakeholder management, and strategic planning .

Facilitate, negotiate, and influence effective decision‑making to

drive solutions , manage schedules, and navigate change.

Participate in key project meetings, including OAC, discipline work groups, progress reviews, pre‑construction, and pre‑award sessions.

Actively engage in

industry events, associations, and business chambers , building your profile as a thought leader.

Oversee and report on STV’s performance across

scope, schedule, budget, and contractor execution , providing updates weekly or as required.

Establish and manage

QA/QC procedures , review inspection and test data for compliance, and conduct quality field inspections.

Maintain and review

site logistics plans

in coordination with general contractors, operations teams, and consultants.

Leverage your deep network in technology infrastructure firms to drive

client management, business development, and proposal pursuits

in collaboration with National Development Directors, Area Managers, and the Operating Group President.

Skills & Qualifications for Success Essential

20+ years of construction experience with at least 5+ years holding the role of Project Executive / Project Director (or similar) leadership positions.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering; Architecture; Construction Project Management; or equivalent experience.

Proven experience in

General Contracting, CM/PM, or Owner’s Representative roles

delivering hyperscale data center or mission‑critical projects.

Expertise across all phases of commercial and industrial architecture and engineering, with a primary focus on data center design and construction.

Strong communication skills to engage technical and non‑technical stakeholders in fast‑paced environments.

Willingness to travel nationally, as needed, to oversee projects and engage with clients and teams.

Preferred

Experience with

Central Plant systems.

Professional certifications such as

CCM, PMP, PE, DBIA, LEED.

Candidates already local to (or willing to relocate) to Arizona, Colorado, Ohio, Atlanta & Texas would be a plus.

Compensation Range:

$202,579.27 - $253,224.09
