Junior Interior Designer - Chicago North Shore
Rebel House LLC is looking for a junior interior designer with high-end residential experience to assist Principal and Senior Designers in all aspects of hospitality and residential design projects. The position will be based from the firm’s North Shore office.
Responsibilities
Drafting floor plans, elevations, and custom furniture drawings
Requesting pricing and writing proposals for selected items
Assisting in presentation preparation including procuring samples, pricing, and other necessary information
Making site visits to inspect installations, meet tradespeople, and advance project needs
Liaising with vendors, tradespeople, and clients
Installing furniture and accessories for completed project
Desired Skills & Experience
1-2 years of experience in high-end design
Interior Design and/or Interior Architecture education
Ability to multitask effectively
FF&E focused - good knowledge of vendors, product, materials, shopping and resourcing
Experience in project management
Willing to travel domestically to job sites, when necessary
Understanding of custom furniture design and fabrication process
AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketch-up, Keynote skills are essential
Knowledge of Studio Webware a plus
