Job Description What you will be doing:
Oversee the ongoing and effective operation of various patient safety and risk management activities.
Perform and oversee claim management functions including investigation and analysis.
Conduct risk assessments for new services.
Perform root cause analysis for the system including action plan tracking and facilitation.
Manage the Patient Safety Council and integrate the corporate TERM program into the overall risk management program.
Collaborate with department directors and the executive team to implement corporate and facility risk reduction strategies.
Provide expertise regarding regulatory and compliance standards and processes.
Engage in data analysis, reporting, and education.
Provide leadership and be accountable for related activities.
Experience you will need
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field is required.
Two (2) to Five (5) years of Risk Management experience; acute care experience preferred.
Must have leadership experience in a hospital setting.
Senior management experience is required.
Willingness to travel occasionally.
