Treasury Ops. & Cash Management Analyst

Job Overview
Treasury Operations is responsible for administration of all treasury contracts, setting up cash management products and services with relationship banks, and enhancing existing processes to accommodate Daimler entity needs. A strong relationship with cash management banks is essential to structure and optimize overall bank account structure and ensure proper execution of all payments. Efficient gathering of bank information to identify current cash management trends and future needs. Work with global team to implement payment automation processes. In addition to daily operations, the main tasks are monitoring, controlling, maintaining and developing processes to ensure the highest possible level of quality and customer satisfaction in all cash management related functions, especially concerning payments.
Responsibilities
Ensure correct and complete recording & administration of all treasury contracts in compliance with all applicable standards. Confirmation, settlement and administration of all financial transactions of NAFTA Treasury entities and ensuring auditability.
Provide timely and accurate treasury payments and related documentation. Safeguard process security and quality.
Ensure adherence to all treasury and compliance guidelines, especially the "four-eye" principle and segregation of duties.
Process invoice payments in close cooperation with the accounting department.
Administer signing, trading and other authorizations; manage counterparty data, Standing Settlement Instructions (SSI), and bank authorizations (list of authorized signatures).
Correspond with banks on opening, closing and general administration of all NAFTA bank accounts; manage account management of selected Daimler group entities and ensure global transparency on Daimler's bank accounts.
Administer external online bank and payment systems within NAFTA region and ensure internal and external auditability. Manage online banking platforms ensuring proper segregation of duties in setup and administration of security rights and users.
Analyze and implement various entity requests to add, remove or modify banking services—consultation and administration of services (e.g., debit blocks).
Analyze and evaluate existing payment processes; ongoing optimization of company cash and bank account structure.
Proactively identify and resolve potential project issues in a timely manner.
Coordinate testing of payment files and connections between entities and banks.
Lead development of robust cash management methodologies and processes; implement new bank technologies, products and services.
Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity management during team member time off.
Support and coordinate guarantees, including letters of credit, surety bonds, and corporate guarantees; prepare reports, process fee payments, and accurately record contingent liabilities.
Oversee logistics for executive meetings, venue booking, and related administrative tasks.
Act as liaison between banks, accounting, and other internal departments to resolve banking issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and 3-5 years of treasury experience, OR 6 years of banking & cash management experience with emphasis in Business Management, Computer/Information Science, Economics, Finance, International Relations/Business Mathematics, Statistics, or banking/finance background.
Working knowledge and expanded professional experience in treasury, cash management, or banking.
Understanding of key business drivers and ability to solve moderate complexity problems within guidelines and policies.
Experience leading projects or processes and providing informal guidance to new team members.
5-7 years overall experience in business fundamentals, finance proficiency, and risk management, including knowledge of fundamental business practices, financial indicators, and risk mitigation strategies.

Benefits & Compensation Starting salary range: $71,000 – $91,000 USD.
