Senior Software Engineer Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and scale modern microservices‑based applications. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies, and is passionate about building clean, maintainable, and high‑performing software.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java 17, Spring Boot, and Project Reactor.
Build and manage microservices architectures with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
Deploy, monitor, and scale applications within cloud environments (AWS services such as ECS, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Redis, CloudWatch, Kinesis, API Gateway).
Apply functional programming patterns and design principles for modular and maintainable code.
Work with relational and non‑relational databases including MariaDB, DynamoDB, and MongoDB.
Implement caching solutions such as Redis and in‑memory caching for improved performance.
Manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Harness and source control through Git.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Debug, triage, and resolve issues using monitoring and logging tools such as AppDynamics or Splunk.
Collaborate in an agile development environment and help define best practices.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of experience in software engineering with full SDLC exposure.
Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
Experience with microservices, functional programming, and cloud‑based deployments.
Deep understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and system design.
Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and performance‑tuning skills.
