Key Responsibilities
Provide expert technical policy consultancy on Microsoft 365 solutions to clients, advising on compliance, best practices, and optimal implementation strategies.
Administer and manage
the full Microsoft 365 suite including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform.
Oversee and optimize
device and application management using
Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) .
Manage Azure AD / Entra ID , including conditional access, group management, and identity governance.
Implement and maintain
security baselines and policies using
Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Office 365 .
Troubleshoot and resolve
issues related to user access, device compliance, and service performance.
Plan and execute migrations
(on-premises to cloud or tenant-to-tenant) when required.
Collaborate with IT security, network, and service desk teams
to ensure secure and seamless user experience across M365 platforms.
Stay updated
with new Microsoft 365 features and recommend adoption strategies aligned with business needs.
Document configurations, policies, and operational procedures
to ensure consistent management practices.
Provide
Level 3 support
and mentoring to junior administrators or support staff.
Requirements Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum
3 years of hands‑on experience
administering Microsoft 365 environments in a mid to large enterprise setting.
Technical Skills
Strong proficiency in:
Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager
Azure AD (Entra ID)
Exchange Online administration
Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive management
Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Office 365
Good understanding of
PowerShell scripting
for automation and reporting.
Familiarity with
hybrid environments (AD Connect, Exchange Hybrid)
is a plus.
Knowledge of
Microsoft 365 licensing models, compliance, and data protection policies .
Soft Skills
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Proactive in identifying improvements and implementing best practice
Preferred Certifications
Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
Microsoft Certified: Security Administrator Associate
Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
(Any other relevant Microsoft or cloud certifications are a plus)
