Base pay range $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr
Pay Rate Range: $20-23.00 per hour based on experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Windows Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT support team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windows desktop environments, Active Directory administration, and experience with enterprise-level ticketing systems and software deployment tools such as SCM/SCCM.
Key Responsibilities
Support Windows desktop environments, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory.
Deploy, update, and manage software packages using System Center Configuration Manager (SCM/SCCM).
Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests via the organization's ticketing system.
Maintain and update documentation related to support procedures and configurations.
Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Assist in onboarding/offboarding processes including device setup and user provisioning.
Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in Windows desktop support or a similar IT support role.
Proficiency in Active Directory administration.
Hands‑on experience with SCM/SCCM or similar software deployment tools.
Familiarity with enterprise ticketing systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
