About the Opportunity
A growing, well-established organization is seeking a
Senior Financial Analyst
to support forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and performance analysis across multiple operating units. This role is highly visible and works closely with leadership and cross-functional partners to deliver financial insights that drive strategy and operational outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves digging into numbers, improving processes, and presenting financial stories that influence decision-making. The role offers a blend of recurring FP&A responsibilities and strategic project work.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and projection activities for assigned business units
Prepare monthly/quarterly reporting packages and performance dashboards
Analyze financial results and communicate trends, risks, and opportunities
Build and enhance financial models to support strategic planning and scenario analysis
Review departmental budget requests and partner with leaders on financial decisions
Evaluate revenue and margin performance, including pricing changes and business shifts
Assist with audit support and preparation of financial documentation
Participate in systems optimization and process improvement initiatives
Collaborate across accounting, operations, and leadership teams
Qualifications
Required: 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, accounting, or business finance
Advanced Excel and financial modeling proficiency
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills
Ability to present financial insights to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline
Experience within
insurance, healthcare, professional services, or multi-entity environments
CPA or progress toward CPA
Experience with Adaptive Planning
for budgeting and forecasting (not required, but a strong plus)
Exposure to revenue & margin modeling, compensation modeling, or cost allocation analysis
