Job Summary Cresco Labs is seeking an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our Finance team in Chicago, IL. This position reports to the Manager, Accounts Receivable and will be cross‑trained in scanning checks, cash application, and collections. The role is a hybrid: 50% in‑person at the corporate office and 50% remote.

Core Job Duties

Cash Application:

Scan or mail customer checks to the bank.

Apply payments to invoices based on remittance.

Work with Accounting on unapplied cash and NSF/Rejected checks.

Review bank feeds several times per day for new ACH or Wire payments.

Collections:

Contact customers with past‑due balances by email or phone.

Collaborate with internal Sales team when needed.

Update notes daily on the collection spreadsheet and save to shared drive.

Recommend customer accounts for 10‑Day Demand Letter or Bad Debt write‑off.

Support audit requests and other duties as required.

Required Experience, Education & Skills

Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred but not required.

5+ years of AR experience with high volume of cash.

Experience with financial accounting and ERP systems required (SAP and/or Sage Intacct preferred).

Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and MS Office.

Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.

Self‑starter who takes initiative.

Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
