Architectural Project Manager
An Architecture firm in Huntsville is looking to add an Architectural Project Manager to their team!
Job Description This role provides leadership and direct responsibility for production in planning, developing, and managing all phases of a project. The Project Manager is accountable for the quality of work performed, project schedules, client service, staff utilization, and the reputation of the office.
Responsibilities
Direct daily activities of design team, including in-house team members and outside consultants
Assist the Principal with proposals and fee negotiations
Monitor and be accountable for project budgets and profitability
Prepare and control project schedules
Monitor contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and other agreements to ensure compliance with contract terms and established procedures
Maintain and enhance professional relationships with clients, consultants, and others
Secure future work through overt marketing efforts
Prepare and participate in presentations
Attend, participate, and lead project meetings both in-house and at job sites
Perform on-site construction observations and prepare associated reports
Assist the Principal in the training and project performance evaluation of personnel
Provide leadership to ensure projects are completed in accordance with designated designs, codes, specifications, industry standards, office budgets, and schedule requirements
Ensure the accuracy and quality of all technical work
Review invoices before distribution for final review
Develop a training plan in conjunction with a supervisor to improve job skills and enhance career development
Essential Skills
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture or related field preferred
Experience in project management and architectural design
Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel
Document production experience required
Job Type & Location Permanent position based in Huntsville, AL.
Pay And Benefits Pay range: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year.
