Junior/Regular Quality Assurance Engineer (API)
Who we are looking for As part of a cross‑functional agile team delivering high‑performance digital platforms built in .NET, Spring Boot, and Angular on AWS, you will be responsible for driving test automation as well as manual testing, continuous integration, and shift‑left quality practices. You'll collaborate directly with developers to design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks covering UI, API, and data validation layers—ensuring product stability, scalability, and reliability. Key requirements
Automation frameworks (UI+API) – Rest Assured, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright API Automation & validation (REST, Postman, Swagger) Database testing and validation with SQL/NoSQL Test design for microservices and distributed environments CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar) Knowledge of shift‑left and DevOps‑oriented testing practices Familiarity with AWS environments, containerized pipelines (Docker/Kubernetes) English written and spoken at least at B2+ level or higher EU work permit Nice to have
Experience testing microservices and asynchronous systems Familiarity with DDD, CQRS, design patterns (aligning with developer stack) Knowledge of performance or load testing tools (e.g. JMeter, K6) Cloud‑native testing experience (AWS, Lambda, scaling environments) Basic scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) In‑depth API automation (Java + Rest Assured/Postman/Karate/Newman) Understanding of Spring Boot microservices, async patterns, circuit breakers, caching Test strategy for performance, resilience, and fault tolerance API schema validation and contract testing SQL/NoSQL data validation in integration scenarios Experience Level
Junior (1‑2 years of experience) Executes automation tasks with supervision Contributes to existing test frameworks Understands CI/CD integration and agile delivery Demonstrates curiosity for backend and API testing Regular / Mid (+2‑5 years of experience) Independent contributor with ownership of test automation suites Designs new automation flows across UI, API, and data layers Works closely with developers to identify edge cases and integration issues Contributes to framework optimization and QE scalability initiatives Your future role
Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases for API and UI layers Build and extend automation frameworks (e.g., Rest Assured, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) Perform API validations and database testing for complex integrations (.NET, Java, Angular stack) Collaborate with developers to enable shift‑left testing and CI/CD quality gates Execute sprint‑level automated regression testing and contribute to QE pipelines Plan and conduct test coverage for microservices, REST APIs, and large data migrations Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, grooming, retrospectives) and drive test readiness Ensure test completion, results reporting, and quality sign‑offs per sprint Actively contribute to the evolution of QE practices, test data strategy, and automation scalability What we offer
