Senior Executive Recruiter at LHH/Parker and Lynch
LHH is seeking a Senior Accountant on behalf of a fast‑growing, nationally recognized organization in the restoration and construction services industry. The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on accounting experience, strong financial analysis skills, and the ability to manage full‑cycle accounting processes while partnering with project and leadership teams to drive operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with GAAP
Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profitability, variance, and trend analyses for business leaders
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit card transactions, and reconciliations with precision and accountability
Maintain and enhance internal controls in compliance with GAAP, IRS, and company standards
Serve as a key contact for audits by providing required documentation and supporting schedules
Partner with project managers and leadership to deliver financial insights that support decision‑making
Oversee vendor relationships and ensure compliance with lien, tax, and payment documentation requirements
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in accounting workflows
Mentor and support accounting team members to foster continuous learning and professional growth
Handle sensitive financial information with the highest degree of confidentiality and integrity
Support executive‑level requests and special projects as needed
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, including full‑cycle general ledger responsibilities
Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS compliance
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling)
Experience with ERP or accounting systems required
Construction, restoration, or project‑based accounting experience highly preferred
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
Strong organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
