As a Civil Project Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in planning, managing, and delivering projects that matter. Working closely with the Office Manager and a team of talented professionals, you’ll: Develop and oversee project plans, timelines, and budgets. Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project alignment. Lead efforts to identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. Deliver progress updates and reports, showcasing your ability to drive results. Uphold the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance. Mentor junior team members while growing our presence in the Utah region. What We’re Looking For
We value innovation, collaboration, and expertise. The ideal candidate will bring: Required Skills and Qualifications
A Professional Engineer (PE) License in Utah or the ability to obtain one within six months. A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Technical expertise in civil engineering services, including land development, utilities, grading, surveying, construction oversight, and planning. Proven experience (7+ years) in land development/municipal projects. A track record of leading project teams and mentoring engineers and designers. Strong proposal writing, contract management, and client management skills. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills
Proficiency in Civil3D design software. Knowledge of Utah drainage requirements and municipal design codes. Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Must be able to work on active construction sites, which may include uneven terrain, exposure to varying weather conditions, and moderate to high noise levels. Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Location
