Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

The Quality Engineer will lead quality control efforts across manufacturing operations, ensuring products, materials, and processes meet rigorous standards through inspections, audits, and use of automated systems. The role also involves driving continuous improvement initiatives, conducting root cause analyses, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to enhance product quality and compliance.

Description The Quality Engineer will:

Lead and manage quality control processes across manufacturing operations

Conduct inspections, audits, and tests to ensure product compliance

Utilize automated quality systems (CMM, Vision Inspection, FAI)

Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive quality improvements

Monitor and report on key quality metrics and trends

Troubleshoot manufacturing issues related to quality

Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements

Maintain accurate documentation of quality activities and findings

Support training initiatives on quality standards and tools

Identify opportunities for process optimization

Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence

Profile The successful applicant will have:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required)

Minimum 2+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing setting

Experience with automated quality systems (CMM, Vision Inspection, FAI)

Strong understanding of root cause analysis and CAPA

Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies (preferred)

Background in plastics manufacturing (nice-to-have)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Solid project management and documentation skills

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities

Effective communication skills across teams and levels

Ability to interpret technical documents and standards

Detail‑oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
