About The Role The Executive Sous Chef works directly with the Executive Chef to oversee all back‑of‑house operations. This role includes leading and training kitchen staff, supporting menu execution and development, maintaining the highest culinary standards, and ensuring a clean, efficient, and safe kitchen environment. The Executive Sous Chef plays a key leadership role in driving consistency, quality, and cost controls in a high‑volume restaurant setting.

What You’ll Do

Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations

Lead, train, and motivate BOH team members

Ensure flawless execution of LoLa 41’s global‑influenced menu

Maintain all health and safety standards and uphold HACCP protocols

Manage ordering, inventory, and food cost controls

Ensure kitchen cleanliness and organization during and after service

Promote a positive, energetic, and professional kitchen culture

Support new team hiring and onboarding in advance of opening

Requirements

Previous leadership experience in a high‑volume, upscale kitchen

Strong operational and financial acumen, especially in cost management

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic culinary environment

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Ability to stand and work on your feet for 10–12 hour shifts

Strength to lift and transport heavy items routinely

Commitment to working 5–6 days per week
