Senior Scientist – Computational Genomics

Based on technology developed in Prof. John Rinn’s lab at the University of Colorado Boulder, LincSwitch is committed to pioneering new frontiers in RNA‑based therapeutics.
Position Overview Our bioinformatics team is looking for a Computational Senior Scientist onsite in Boulder, CO to help build, scale and streamline our bioinformatic pipelines on large, diverse multi‑omics datasets (NGS).
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
Apply foundation‑model tooling (training, fine‑tuning or inference) in practical workflows.
Build and maintain robust code to process and analyze large single‑cell and bulk multi‑omics datasets (NGS).
Maintain and run in‑silico experiments, distill results into concise, biologically grounded summaries.
Generate reproducible pipelines on cloud GPUs.
Optimize scientific compute for throughput, memory, cost.
Work closely with other team members.
PhD in Computational Biology, CS, Statistics, or related field.
Mastery of Python and containers.
Hands‑on experience with single‑cell data sets (e.g. scRNA‑seq, scATAC‑seq).
Comfort with GPC (or AWS), GPUs and workflow tools.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex bioinformatics results to non‑specialist team members.
Highly organized, with a proactive approach to problem‑solving in a collaborative setting.
Ability to excel in a fast‑paced, evolving environment at the cutting edge of RNA research.
Compensation and Benefits LincSwitch Therapeutics offers a competitive compensation package, including base salary, performance bonuses, and stock options, starting in 2026. We also provide health benefits, HSA, a flexible work environment, and opportunities for career growth.
Pay range: $110,000 - $125,000 annually.
