Senior Mechanical Engineer – Murray, Utah
Brady is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to work in our Murray, Utah office location. The individual filling this position will lead projects or modules for healthcare or industrial products and perform mechanical engineering tasks from initial design to prototyping, testing, and final product release.
Responsibilities
Lead projects from industrial design concept through engineering to product release.
Identify issues on existing products requiring revisions while driving new product development.
Work with manufacturing to identify and resolve issues.
Use mechanical engineering tools, including SolidWorks, rapid prototyping, laser cutting, and more.
Coordinate with project management to maintain project budgets, timelines, and targets.
Design for ingress protection, drop resistance, and plastic injection molding.
Review tolerance stacks for multi‑component mechanisms.
Mentor junior engineers on industry standards and internal best practices.
Create and present detailed updates to upper management.
Work cross‑functionally with other engineering disciplines, marketing, sourcing, and various other groups.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
At least 5 years of progressive mechanical engineering design experience.
3+ years of experience using SolidWorks.
Experience generating, compiling, and controlling product documentation, drawings, ECOs, and technical data sheets.
Experience in manufacturing processes, including injection molding.
Experience designing products for Healthcare/Industrial/Automotive/Commercial environments.
