Established, dynamic, rapidly growing Fort Lauderdale company is looking for a talented Hybrid Senior Staff Accountant to join its accounting team and report to the Controller. The ideal candidate will be responsible for full‑cycle accounting.
Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr. Company pays 100% healthcare for employees and family members and offers 3‑week paid time off and a 4% 401(k) match.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the Controller to ensure accuracy of all financial transactions and maintain financial records.
Perform bank reconciliations.
Prepare and post journal entries.
Perform balance sheet account reconciliations.
Evaluate the income statement monthly for accuracy and correct any financial discrepancies.
Assist the Controller in cash forecasting and projections.
Conduct inventory reconciliations and cost adjustments.
Execute special ad‑hoc projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
5 years’ experience in accounting, with a minimum of 2 years in consumer goods.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUP).
Proficiency with ERP systems.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
Experience with e‑commerce platforms and system integrations is a plus.
