General Manager – McDonald’s (Independent Franchisee) Description

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for ensuring that the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. These standards are high, so this is a significant role. The General Manager works with their leader to set the restaurant’s goals and creates a plan to achieve them. Responsibilities

• Oversees a team of Department Managers, helping them set goals, track progress, and providing coaching and direction to improve their departments. • Leads the hiring and development of Department and Shift Managers to build a strong future team. • Partners with leadership to drive financial performance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. Qualifications

• Previous General Manager experience running high‑volume quick‑service restaurants. • Strong background in hospitality, retail, or a similar fast‑paced environment. • Minimum age of 18 years for manager-level positions in corporate‑owned and operated restaurants. Benefits
