Retail Channel Sales Director

to drive revenue and growth through strategic retail partnerships.

Position Overview

The

Retail Channel Sales Director

will lead Typhur’s retail sales strategy across key U.S. channels such as Best Buy, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Costco, Sam’s Club, Target, Walmart, and Williams-Sonoma.

You will be responsible for developing partnerships, managing sell‑in/sell‑through performance, and achieving sales and profitability targets.

This role is ideal for someone with strong retail buyer relationships, deep understanding of consumer electronics or home appliance categories, and a proven track record of driving growth within national retailers.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute retail channel sales strategies for assigned national accounts (e.g., Best Buy, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Costco, Target, Walmart, Williams-Sonoma, etc.).

Build and maintain strong relationships with retail buyers, category managers, and merchandising teams.

Lead annual line reviews, product placement, and promotional negotiations to maximize retail visibility and revenue.

Drive sell‑in and sell‑through performance by coordinating with marketing, operations, and demand planning teams.

Develop quarterly and annual sales forecasts and ensure alignment with company revenue goals.

Monitor retail performance metrics (POS data, inventory, pricing, promotions, margin) and take corrective actions when needed.

Identify new business opportunities within existing and emerging retail partners.

Work cross‑functionally with Product, Marketing, and Finance to ensure profitability and brand consistency across channels.

Stay current on retail trends, competitive landscape, and category opportunities in the U.S. market.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).

8+ years of experience in

U.S. retail / channel sales , preferably in

consumer electronics, home appliances, or premium consumer goods .

Proven track record managing accounts such as Best Buy, Costco, Target, Walmart, Lowe’s, or similar.

Strong negotiation and presentation skills with major U.S. retailers.

Experience in P&L ownership, forecasting, and promotional planning.

Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally across time zones and departments.

Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship management skills.

Self‑starter, entrepreneurial mindset, and highly organized.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
