Director of Total Rewards We are seeking a Director of Total Rewards to drive forward our compensation and benefits philosophy as a key enabler to our success as a people-focused, customer centric, performance driven organization. This position will work across the organization to drive innovative solutions and execute a compelling total rewards strategy while elevating how we leverage data, process and systems to deliver.

The Director of Total Rewards will lead the plan design, implementation, management, and ongoing evaluation of our benefits and compensation programs while leveraging HR technology solutions to bring them to life. This position will be both strategic and hands‑on in managing all facets of compensation and benefits (health, wellness, retirement, leave programs, executive compensation and incentive programs) and have a deep understanding of market trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in compensation and benefits. This role will ensure our offerings are market-based and competitive, effectively incentivize the delivery of business results, and enhance our culture, alongside fortifying foundational efficiencies and best practices. This position will work closely with HR, Finance, IT, operations, and business leaders to align total rewards offerings, HR systems and analytics capabilities with organizational needs, enhancing user experience, and optimizing operational effectiveness.

Base pay range $165,000.00/yr - $252,700.00/yr

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the research, implementation, and execution of all total rewards programs. Develop and enact the total rewards strategy to align with organizational goals and philosophy, including compensation, benefits, retirement, and other programs that influence the employee experience.

Lead and coach the broader Total Rewards team, fostering a collaborative and high‑performing culture. Develop talent through hiring, development, retention, and performance management. Educate and coach HR partners on compensation and benefits approaches, strategies, and best practices to enable sustainable and effective service delivery.

Regularly interface with the Compensation & Leadership Development Committee of the Board of Directors to support all elements of executive compensation strategy, planning and execution. This will include partnering and collaborating with the C&LD Committee, its independent compensation consultant and the Company’s executive leadership team.

Assist the Legal Department in the preparation of the Company’s Proxy Statement including adherence to corporate governance standards and regulatory requirements.

In partnership with Procurement, manage full suite of vendor relationships for service level performance and effective negotiation of contracts for software and services related to offerings and HR systems.

Become a trusted advisor to leadership through conceptualizing, developing, and delivering metrics and insights leveraging data and analytics which drive improvements in service delivery and operational effectiveness.

Oversee the pension and retirement plans, investment committees and partner with actuaries and plan trustees to support compliance and appropriate fiduciary oversight.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred

7+ years of experience in compensation and/or benefits; Experience with Executive Compensation is a must

Experience in a unionized industry and/or a public company is highly desired

Strong audience awareness and ability to articulate appropriately to various stakeholders including senior leaders, finance, HR, and employees

Knowledge of data governance, data privacy, as well as global and local compliance requirements

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and to maintain confidentiality

Ability to manage large workload, quickly understand priorities, and be very responsive to customer needs; capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously with tight deadlines

Collaborative team member — Always puts the long‑term needs of the enterprise and the overall team ahead of any short‑term individual agenda

Ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels (ie both executive and lower levels)

A resilient person who demonstrates the ability to see failures as minor setbacks, with the tenacity to bounce back quickly and turn challenges into opportunities

Strong attention to detail

Proficiency in analytics tools such as PowerBI and Tableau; ability to create complex formulas in MS Excel strongly preferred
