Senior Construction Project Manager
to lead the delivery of multiple large‑scale data centre projects across the US.
About the Role The Senior Construction Project Manager will oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of major hyperscale data centre construction projects valued at over $300 million each. This position will provide strategic leadership across all aspects of project execution — including safety, schedule, budget, scope, and quality — ensuring the successful completion of mission‑critical infrastructure projects within the client’s international portfolio.
Working closely with general contractors, design teams, and senior stakeholders, the Senior Project Manager will drive excellence in project management, lead cross‑functional coordination, and ensure seamless delivery from design through commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of large‑scale data centre construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety, schedule, scope, budget, and quality objectives
Oversee general contractors, commissioning agents, and third‑party consultants, ensuring performance and accountability across all project phases
Coordinate closely with design managers, architects, and engineers to align pre‑construction and construction activities
Support environmental, entitlement, and permitting processes to enable timely project execution
Develop strategic sourcing plans for contractor and vendor selection, negotiation, and award
Implement robust communication, reporting, and documentation processes to maintain project governance and transparency
Manage project financials, including budgeting, cost tracking, change management, and risk mitigation
Champion constructability reviews and value engineering initiatives to optimize project delivery and cost efficiency
Lead project meetings (OAC, Design, MEP, ACx) and present executive summaries to senior leadership
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, promoting a culture of operational excellence on all sites
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
Minimum 15 years’ experience in construction project management, including 10+ years in data centre or mission‑critical facility delivery
Proven track record managing complex projects exceeding $300M in value
Strong technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, construction processes, and capital project delivery
Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Demonstrated experience with various contract types (lump sum, GMP, design‑build, etc.) and cost control systems
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Highly organized, analytical, and results‑driven, with a focus on strategic problem solving and risk management
