Our client, an investment firm, is seeking an IT Support Analyst to join their team in Dallas, TX!
Responsibilities
Support the core IT infrastructure in the Dallas office.
Serve as the first point of contact for Los Angeles employees seeking technical assistance in person, by phone, email, or through the helpdesk ticketing system.
Provide remote support to Los Angeles, New York, London, and Asia offices during Dallas business hours.
Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 support for hardware (desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, copiers, scanners, faxes, phones) and software (VMware, Windows, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Adobe, WebEx, etc.).
Support high-touch executive technology, including home offices and personal devices.
Provide remote hands for enterprise infrastructure including servers, storage, and networking equipment.
Assist with administration of Microsoft Server 2016/2019/2022, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Exchange, M365 Admin Center, and VMware vSphere.
Stay current with relevant technologies and evaluate new hardware and software solutions.
Build and deploy desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and virtual machines.
Support office moves, additions, and changes.
Set up and support audio/visual conferencing systems.
Participate in on-call rotations, special projects, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Minimum +1 years of relevant IT support experience in a Windows environment.
Energetic, dependable, and adaptable; able to work extended or off-hours as needed.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Able to work independently and collaboratively, and take ownership of tasks through completion.
Professional under pressure, with experience supporting demanding users and critical technologies.
Proficient in Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 2021/365.
Familiarity with ticketing systems and basic networking concepts.
Security-minded with exposure to data encryption technologies.
Experience with VMware (vSphere, VMView) and collaboration tools such as WebEx, Teams, and Zoom.
Exposure to Cisco telecommunication systems and project documentation practices.
Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds; frequent walking, standing, and sitting required.
