Why this role matters
Every timely receipt, accurate pick, and well‑built kit keeps assembly on schedule.
Flawless MRP transactions ensure inventory trust and enable lean flow.
Safe, careful handling protects quality and reduces cost.
What you’ll do
Model safety: wear PPE and actively maintain a safe, healthy workplace.
Own core warehouse functions: receiving, put‑away, picking, kitting, and point‑of‑use delivery.
Execute error‑free system moves and confirmations in MRP for quantities, locations, and part/label data.
Label and identify all materials correctly to support traceability and efficient retrieval.
Operate powered industrial equipment (forklift, crane, order picker, scissor lift) with required certifications and fall protection where needed.
Protect materials from damage during storage, transport, and line delivery.
Meet scheduled delivery commitments to production every shift.
Explain and coach warehouse procedures and processes to teammates.
What you’ll bring
High school diploma or GED.
1+ year of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Basic English literacy and verbal communication skills.
Material handling experience.
Nice to have
Prior warehouse experience specifically within manufacturing.
Powered Industrial Vehicle certification(s).
Physical requirements
Comfort working at times in non‑climate‑controlled areas.
Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use hands to handle tools or materials.
Frequent speaking/listening; occasional odor detection.
Lift/move up to 40 lbs.
Visual capabilities: near and far acuity, color differentiation, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
