Overview We are seeking a Senior AWS Developer with 10–15 years of software development experience. This role involves close collaboration with the Data Modernization teams to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that align with technical requirements and business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective modernization strategies.
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
Act as a trusted advisor to technical teams on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Develop, test, debug, and deliver within established timelines using best tools and practices.
Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues and challenges.
Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to business needs.
Identify architectural risks and develop mitigation plans.
Ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
Communicate effectively with non-technical audiences, including senior and business stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience
Extensive experience in developing and building AWS Data Lake formation, contributing to design, development, and code implementation.
Experience in modernizing legacy applications, including refactoring or migrating in-house legacy systems to a cloud environment.
Proficiency in utilizing AWS services and related components for building enterprise-level Data Lakes.
Hands‑on experience in data ingestion and storage, data processing and transformation, and working with AWS Machine Learning using relevant AWS services.
Experience customizing AWS ETL logic using Python.
Strong knowledge of security and data governance, including fine‑grained permissions, user/service permission management, data encryption, auditing, and compliance.
Software development experience with hands‑on Python scripting; prior experience with object‑oriented languages is a plus.
Experience working with transactional or RDBMS data bases.
Experience with DevOps, DevSecOps, IaC, automation, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging.
Knowledge or experience withL tools, Power BI, or AWS QuickSight for data analytics is a plus.
Must have experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
