Part-Time HR Business Partner (HRBP) - 24 hours per week

Position Summary: We're supporting the search for a part-time HR Business Partner (HRBP). This will be the primary on-site HR contact for our warehouse operations team, supporting leaders and employees in achieving business goals through effective people practices. This role is responsible for staffing coordination, employee relations, compliance with employment laws, and day-to-day HR partnership with warehouse leadership.

The ideal candidate brings deep HR expertise, strong judgment, and a practical, solutions-oriented mindset to a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Schedule: T/TH: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Key Responsibilities: 1. Employee Relations & Engagement

Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, questions, and concerns

Investigate and resolve employee relations matters promptly, ensuring fairness and consistency

Support performance coaching, corrective action, and documentation in partnership with leadership

Promote a positive and productive work environment grounded in respect, accountability, and collaboration

2. Staffing & Workforce Coordination

Partner with warehouse leaders to understand staffing needs and align recruiting efforts accordingly

Support hiring managers with job postings, interview coordination, and candidate selection

Coordinate onboarding and new hire orientation to ensure smooth integration into the team

3. Compliance & Policy Administration

Ensure all employment practices comply with federal, state, and local laws

Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely completion of required documentation

Partner with corporate HR to ensure adherence to company policies, training, and reporting requirements

Act as a trusted advisor to warehouse leaders, offering guidance on performance management, attendance, and employee engagement

Provide insight into workforce trends and recommend solutions to improve retention and morale

Partner on implementation of HR programs such as engagement surveys, recognition programs, and safety initiatives

5. HR Operations Support

Support payroll and timekeeping accuracy by ensuring timely submission of employee data changes

Coordinate leaves of absence and time-off tracking as needed

Assist with HR reporting, audits, and other administrative tasks

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required

8-10+ years of progressive HR experience, including generalist or HRBP experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices

Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity

Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through

Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
