Auria is looking to hire a Network Engineer to support C2BMC. This role is on site in Colorado Springs, CO. The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program serves as the core element of the Missile Defense System. It is a critical operational system that enables the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to plan ballistic missile defense operations, monitor the battle, and dynamically control networked sensors and weapon systems. C2BMC supports a layered missile defense capability, enabling an optimized response to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It acts as a force multiplier by connecting, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems worldwide and regionally to enhance performance. C2BMC is a vital part of all ground and flight tests, verifying and exercising current and future missile defense system capabilities.
The candidate will serve as a primary Network Engineer supporting the C2BMC Program. This position is based at HWY83, Colorado Springs, CO, and is a long‑term role; however, it requires the ability to travel to other locations, such as Schriever Space Force Base, CO, Alaska, Guam, and Europe, to perform tasks, including deployments.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO
Plan, deploy, integrate, and test upgrades to the C2BMC network at operational sites.
Travel to remote locations to perform network installations, troubleshoot issues, and provide status updates to Program personnel.
Communicate effectively with strong writing and presentation skills; proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint and Visio.
Thrive under collaborative and agile environments.
WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES
Motivated collaborative contributor driven by the opportunity to develop cutting‑edge solutions that protect and serve the nation and the world.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited university and 5 years of experience; or Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant work experience; or 9 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree.
Current, active, in‑scope DoD‑issued Top Secret security clearance at the time of application, required to start.
Current, active DoD 8140 Level II or higher certification (e.g., Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA) at the time of application, required to start. Must maintain certification throughout the contract period.
Willingness to travel up to 10% for business purposes.
Knowledge of network design, development, and testing methodologies.
Understanding of the OSI Model, TCP/IP, and routing protocols BGP and OSPF.
Proficiency in network traffic analysis, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
Firewall knowledge in Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto platforms.
Knowledge of UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE Tunnels, and TCP/IP network designs.
Experience with multi‑vendor switching and routing (Juniper, Cisco), WAN Optimizer, TACLANE, and optical transport equipment.
PAY TRANSPARENCY The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications — skills, education & experience — and the position level. $106,000 – $117,000.
APPLICATION DEADLINE The deadline to apply is February 6, 2026.
