The Operations Specialist will act as a central resource for a specialized bank operation for all internal and external clients. This role is responsible for computing, classifying, recording, and verifying a wide variety of data that supports the operations of the Bank. Responsible for introducing new and innovative solutions to improve efficiency while maintaining the highest level of quality. Provides technical expertise to clients, coworkers and management related to area of specialty.

Essential Job Functions

Serve as the central resource and subject matter expert (SME) for internal and external clients on back-office operations, systems, and regulatory requirements.

Develop, maintain, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other operational metrics.

Compute, classify, record, verify, and analyze data with accuracy and efficiency.

Create, update, and maintain operational procedures to reflect new products, system changes, regulatory updates, or process improvements.

Research, test, validate, and implement new or updated systems, processes, and projects to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Identify issues, provide timely documentation and escalation, and recommend innovative solutions to improve quality and effectiveness.

Provide technical guidance, support, and training to staff while handling complex or escalated client/branch inquiries with minimal supervision.

Monitor industry and market trends to ensure practices and procedures remain current and competitive.

Exercise approval authority in the absence of management for designated areas of responsibility.

May perform additional duties or special projects as assigned.

Area of Specialty Treasury Management

Support Treasury Management sales cycle.

Complete treasury management implementation documentation and coordinate implementation training within Business Services.

Provide recommendations for resolving complex client requests.

Collaborate and consult with Treasury Management Sales Team, internal partners, stakeholders, and external customers.

Professional / Educational Experience

5–7 years related experience and/or training.

Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience and/or training.

The hiring hourly pay range for this position is $28.60 to $38.61. In addition to the pay range listed, all bank positions are eligible for incentive compensation, which varies based on role. The pay rate for a successful applicant depends on a variety of factors including but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
