Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Design and analyze HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems in accordance with project requirements and industry standards. 2. Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation using AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering software. 3. Conduct site surveys and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards. 4. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure the successful execution of projects. 5. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members. 6. Manage project timelines and resources effectively to ensure timely completion of projects. 7. Continually review and update existing engineering standards and practices to maintain industry relevance. 8. Participate in project meetings and present design proposals and project updates to clients and stakeholders. 9. Perform troubleshooting and resolve any issues related to mechanical systems. 10. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 2. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required. 3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in mechanical engineering. 4. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Excel. 5. Extensive knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems. 6. Familiarity with commercial, industrial, and residential construction standards and regulations. 7. Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills. 8. Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 9. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. 10. Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
