Key Responsibilities Process high-volume vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and adherence to company policies. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly and professionally. Maintain vendor records, including setup and updates in the AP system. Prepare and process electronic payments (ACH, wire transfers) and check runs. Assist with month-end close by preparing AP-related journal entries and reconciliations. Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding items to maintain accurate records. Collaborate with procurement and other departments to resolve invoice and payment issues. Support audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
Qualifications & Skills Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. Experience: 2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience. Proficiency in AP systems and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is strongly preferred. Experience working in manufacturing is preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
