Job Summary
Our client is a well-established accounting and advisory firm providing comprehensive tax, business consulting, and financial services to corporations, high-net-worth individuals, and nonprofit organizations. The Tax Senior will be responsible for leading tax engagements, preparing and reviewing complex returns, and advising clients on strategic tax planning. The role provides an opportunity to work closely with partners and managers while supporting a variety of clients in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal and multi-state income tax returns for corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, and individuals
Conduct research on complex tax matters and provide technical guidance
Assist clients with tax planning strategies, including estate, trust, and business succession planning
Support mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions from a tax perspective
Review client financial data for accuracy and compliance with tax regulations
Respond to IRS or state tax notices and assist with audits as needed
Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and advisory support
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or CPA‑eligible preferred
3+ years of public accounting experience focused on tax
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and multi‑state tax regulations
Experience with high‑net‑worth individual tax planning is a plus
Proficiency with tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and client‑service skills
