Senior Fund Accountant – New York, NY (Hybrid)
An established investment firm is seeking a
Senior Fund Accountant
to join its Finance and Accounting team. Reporting to the Partnership Controller, this full-time
hybrid role
offers the opportunity to work on fund financials, reporting, and process improvements in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Manage monthly close, journal entries, and allocations.
Review books and records from fund administrators.
Prepare investor, financial, and regulatory reports.
Research U.S. GAAP and prepare technical memos.
Collaborate with Operations, Legal, Tax, and Technology teams.
Qualifications
CPA or in progress (preferred).
2+ years in public or fund accounting.
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and fund structures.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and communication skills.
