Base Pay Range

Business Area
The Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) and Aviation business area is a leading prime integrator for high‑performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end‑to‑end C4ISR capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, training, and logistics support.
Role Overview
As a Senior Solution Architect you will provide technical expertise, design robust architectural solutions, and lead cross‑functional teams to solve complex business challenges. You will translate stakeholder needs into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and constraints.
Analyze current systems and propose scalable, secure solutions.
Design and implement high‑quality architectural solutions that meet business requirements.
Ensure solutions are consistent with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.
Lead development of architectural frameworks, patterns, and standards.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct technical evaluations and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to improve productivity.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural designs and solutions.
Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable.
Liaise between technical teams and business units to facilitate clear communication.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating relevant advancements.
Manage relationships with end‑users, senior management, and in a matrixed resource environment.
Partner with senior functional architects to deliver complete conceptual and logical designs.
Qualifications – Must Have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
10+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or similar role.
Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture, system integration, and software development methodologies.
Strong understanding of security, scalability, and performance considerations in solution design.
Excellent problem‑solving and critical thinking skills.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder influencing skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance possession required.
Qualifications – Preferred Agile and DevOps practices experience.
Relevant certifications (TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.).
Experience with systems engineering and architecture tools (Cameo, Jama).
Multidisciplinary engineering background.
Basic project management understanding (waterfall & agile).
Cybersecurity awareness.
