As a Supply Chain Planner, you will support the development and execution of forward and reverse supply plans. Under the guidance of senior team members, you will perform supply and demand analysis, including "what-if" scenarios, to optimize service levels, costs, and inventory positioning. You will collaborate on raw material planning, identify excess goods, and work with suppliers to align on build plans. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain proficiency in tools and processes that drive operational improvements.

Responsibilities

Utilize supply chain tools to streamline operations and reduce labor needs.

Build dashboards, interpret data, and conduct root cause analysis to support inventory and supply decisions.

Contribute to process automation and system scalability.

Act as a liaison between teams to ensure priorities are clearly defined and executed.

Communicate updates and escalations to stakeholders.

Assist in raw material planning, product transitions, and last‑time buys.

Support buffer strategies and excess inventory mitigation.

Collaborate on rework and redeployment of goods.

Contribute to planning strategies that balance service levels, cost, and inventory under demand uncertainty.

Support material transfers and inventory alignment.

Begin to design solutions for demand shifts and inventory adjustments.

Partner with suppliers to resolve constraints and align on build plans.

Monitor supplier capacity compliance and performance metrics.

Support mid‑term capacity planning and investment alignment.

Analyze supply and demand scenarios and support contingency planning.

Help develop and execute supply plans in coordination with factories and logistics.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Operations, or a related field and 1 year of relevant experience, or a Master's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum 5+ years of experience with supply chain/demand planning, operations, sourcing, and manufacturing.

Minimum 4+ years of experience with data analysis.

Minimum 4+ years of experience with supplier operations/logistics management.

Minimum 4+ years of experience with order fulfillment, inventory, data management, and material planning.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, including pivot tables.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 4 years or Master's degree with 2 years in supply chain operations, sourcing, or manufacturing.

Experience with supply planning tools, analytics platforms, and supplier collaboration.

Work Environment This role involves a significant amount of hands‑on work with data, trends, metrics, and KPIs. The data is very analytical and spread across various platforms. You will work in an AI‑driven environment with the potential for future full‑time employment. The typical day includes 50% meetings, 25% system work and data management, and 25% continuous improvement/transformation. Although the role offers some remote flexibility, candidates must be located near Redmond, WA, or Austin, TX, as they need to attend one of these offices initially.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA.

Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $46.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
