In this role, you will provide a consultative approach to large, sophisticated business clients with complex treasury needs. You will develop new treasury management business, expand relationships, handle high-touch clients, and collaborate with Relationship Managers, Division Managers, and other business lines to onboard new clients. Responsibilities
Develop sales plans to identify the expansion of existing clients by preparing call schedules and presentations. Prepare and present a consultative working cash flow presentation to prospects and existing clients. Lead client/prospect sales calls with Relationship Managers and Technical Solutions Consultant. Drive collaboration between business lines to implement new solutions for new and existing clients. Lead consultative conversation with new and existing customers to define solutions that meet their business objectives. Mentor and coach more junior Treasury Management consultants and associates, and train new TM consultants as appropriate. Monitor industry trends and competitive practices, including technology, regulatory, and legislative changes related to treasury management. Partner with Product managers in the development of new product solutions and enhancements of existing products and services. Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations for the assigned job function and apply to designated responsibilities. Keep up-to-date on regulation changes. Follow all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and complete all required annual or job-specific training. Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies regarding the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other applicable regulations. May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as a subject matter expert. Actively learn, demonstrate, and foster the Columbia corporate culture in all actions and words. Bachelor's Degree. Master’s degree in finance, accounting, marketing, or business. 2-4 years of experience in Treasury Management Sales, Sales Support, or related business experience. More than 10 years of experience in treasury management sales, service, and/or support (required). Extensive knowledge and understanding of bank payment systems, treasury management solutions, and competitive practices. Proficient knowledge of sales principles and practices to effectively market treasury management solutions to prospects and clients. Demonstrated strong ability to consistently develop and execute sales planning within an assigned sales territory. Proven ability to consistently achieve established sales and customer satisfaction goals, demonstrate effective new business development strategies, and build or source new relationships. Proven ability to effectively manage complex commercial account relationships and consult clients on best practices and operations to identify deficiencies and lead, develop and implement effective solutions. Extensive analytical, problem solving, excellent customer service, organizational and interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills required to lead, develop, and present effective sales proposals. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and industry‑specific software applications. Job Location(s): Ability to work fully onsite at the posted location. Denver, CO Our Benefits
We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $117,000.00 – $160,000.00. The role may be eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, with details provided during the recruitment process.
