What to Expect The Lease Accounting Manager plays a critical role in overseeing all aspects of the company's lease accounting function. This position leads the North America lease accounting team and is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of lease‑related financial reporting. With deep expertise in ASC 842 lease accounting standards, the ideal candidate will demonstrate proven leadership experience and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple business functions to drive operational excellence and reporting accuracy.

What You’ll Do

Oversee month‑end close activities, including reviewing and posting journal entries, and reviewing account reconciliations for lease and related accounts to ensure compliance with ASC 842

Partner closely with internal stakeholders and cross‑functional teams such as lease administration, operations, and FP&A to ensure accurate and efficient lease accounting processes

Identify, design, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of lease accounting procedures

Prepare and review lease‑related schedules for internal teams and external auditors, including ASC 842 disclosure footnotes and supporting schedules for financial reporting

Provide ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic business decisions

Mentor, develop, and guide team members to foster professional growth and high performance

What You’ll Bring

Strong technical knowledge and practical application of ASC 842 lease accounting standards

Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with specialized experience in lease accounting

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience; CPA preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional partners

Solid understanding of internal controls and compliance best practices

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, mentor, and manage a team

Expected Compensation $64,000 - $174,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
