Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT) is a premier thermal solutions provider serving many diverse markets. ACT has an immediate opening for a CNC Programmer/Operator. This candidate will be working in a composite CNC machine shop, specializing in the machining of composite materials. A candidate for this position must have experience with programming, setup and operation of CNC machines and producing parts to tight tolerances.
Responsibilities
Review 3D CAD designs and blueprints
Generate CNC programs using MasterCam
Prepare, set up and operate CNC routers
Requirements
Must meet the definition of a US person in accordance with ITAR requirements
Have a high-school diploma
Minimum of 5 years programming experience using MasterCam software
Be able to read and interpret ANSI Y14.5 blueprints and specifications
Have a high degree of general craftsmanship and work ethic
Have excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Working understanding in setup and operation of CNC Machines
Ability to manage multiple duties, set priorities and follow tasks through completion
Have the ability to foresee technical problems in the manufacturing environment
Provide a resume with work experience
Own setup and inspection tools desirable
5-Axis machining experience desirable
