Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Health, Duke Children’s Primary Care in Durham, NC The Department of Pediatrics invites applications for a faculty pediatrician (MD/DO) within the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Health.

We are seeking an outstanding pediatrician to join our multi‑specialty team, who will provide holistic primary care and urgent care clinical services for children aged 0–23. This faculty member will also serve as an attending preceptor, teaching and supervising Duke pediatric residents and medical students within our established academic practice.

We have three primary care locations; this position will be primarily located at our North Durham (3116 North Duke Street) location with some time at the other locations.

As part of the education team, this position will give didactic pre‑clinical conferences as well as provide patient or topic‑specific lectures. To enhance resident education, this position will NOT have responsibilities to serve as a primary care physician for individual patients. The weekly schedule for this position may vary depending on clinic need and will be discussed in advance.

Eligible candidates must hold an MD or DO degree and be board‑certified or board‑eligible by the American Board of Pediatrics.

We are dedicated to providing comprehensive well‑child and acute care for infants through age 23. We provide a wide array of high‑quality, accessible primary, specialized and enhanced health care services for our patients.

Teach and supervise pediatric residents and medical students.

Provide holistic primary care and urgent care services for children 0‑23.

Deliver didactic pre‑clinical conferences and patient or topic‑specific lectures.

Work at North Durham and other division locations as needed.

Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Pediatrics (American Board of Pediatrics).
