Position Details: Position Type: Direct Hire Job Location: Geneva, NY Benefits: 401K, Dental insurance, Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, Vision Insurance Compensation: $52,000- $83,200 Annually

Hours: Sunday night through Friday morning - 3rd Shift - 10:30pm – 6:30am

Overview : Repair, maintain, and support equipment on both Aerosol and Hair Care Packaging lines to maximize productivity and quality including changeovers, set-ups, installation, and adjustments. Advanced skills and knowledge of the repair and maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment, electric motors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, conveyor systems, PLC’s, bearings, shafts, production machines and liquid filling equipment required. A key aspect of this role is troubleshooting machine downtime events and utilizing root cause analysis techniques to identify and resolve issues at their source.

Requirements: • Diagnose, repair, and maintain all packaging and support equipment to optimize efficiency and quality. • Conducts line changeovers and makes necessary set-up and adjustments as required by the production schedule. • Perform line alteration, rebuilding as necessary. • Utilize data from both CMMS and MES to analyse and solve both routine and complex electrical and mechanical problems of processing, packaging, and auxiliary equipment. • Assist manufacturing personnel on process related problems • Perform established Preventative Maintenance. Identify and correct mechanical/electrical maintenance issues found during PM process. • Assist Engineering on equipment installations. • Repair and fabricate parts as required. • Operate forklift trucks as required to move equipment or materials. • Assist and train team members in simple adjustments and maintenance • Other duties as assigned 1. Continuous Improvements and problem-solving initiatives to include analysing data to identify machine downtime issues and coming up with root cause and preventive measures 4. Train team members in simple adjustments and maintenance 5. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: • Necessary graduation High School graduate, or equivalent, or Associate degree in mechanical technology, electrical technology, or engineering science a plus. • Necessary vocational training Completion of a mechanical or electrical apprenticeship, or military technical training strongly preferred. • Necessary further training Advanced technical knowledge of machine shop operations, welding, mechanical/electrical maintenance principles (shafts, bearings, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, AC/DC motors, starters, contactors, three phase power, PLC’s) required. • Ability to read blueprints, possess advanced mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills and production maintenance work experience. • Initiative/motivation and communication skill required. • Overall work experience (years) 7-plus years’ mechanic experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

The position is in the factory and could involve standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Occasionally this position may require the lifting and/or moving of more than 60 pounds. All lifting must comply with OSHA standards.
