RESPONSIBILITIES Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, FL that is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, high-impact initiatives using waterfall project management methodologies.
Summary: This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a proven track record of delivering transformational programs that improve processes, systems, and organizational performance. The Senior PM will work cross-functionally to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget, while ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
Key Tasks
Lead end-to-end project delivery for large-scale, transformational initiatives using waterfall methodologies
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication
Collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, and external partners to define requirements, set objectives, and ensure alignment with organizational goals
Manage project execution, track progress against milestones, and resolve issues or obstacles to maintain project timelines and quality standards
Facilitate stakeholder engagement, provide regular updates, and manage expectations across multiple levels of the organization
Conduct post-implementation reviews and document lessons learned to drive continuous improvement
Mentor and guide junior project managers or team members in best practices, process adherence, and risk mitigation
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
