Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Certified Classroom Teacher based in Charlestown, MA. The Classroom Teacher will plan and implement age‑appropriate lesson plans, create a nurturing classroom atmosphere, and ensure a safe and stimulating environment for children. The role includes evaluating and documenting student progress, collaborating with parents, and fostering the emotional, social, and cognitive development of each child.
Qualifications
Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and classroom management
Skills in fostering social, emotional, and cognitive development in children
Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with parents and colleagues
Experience with assessing and documenting student progress
Passion for early childhood education and nurturing young learners
Understanding of child safety standards and adherence to facility policies
State certification for teaching, with classroom experience required
Compensation:
$24–$29/hour (based on experience and education)

What You’ll Do
Provide loving, responsive care to infants/toddlers (ages 8 weeks–24 months).
Manage feeding, diapering, nap routines, and age‑appropriate learning experiences.
Communicate openly with families and collaborate with co‑teachers.
Maintain classroom organization and uphold safety and sanitation standards.
What We’re Looking For
EEC Infant/Toddler Teacher Certification
(via Cares Course + enrolled in course OR application in progress with EEC).
2+ years of experience
in a licensed childcare setting.
Completion of
Strong Start 2.0 Training
for Center‑Based Childcare.
Strong multitasking and communication skills.
Ability to lift and safely care for infants (up to 50 lbs.).
Availability for a
9‑hour shift
(with a 1‑hour unpaid break), Monday–Friday, between
7:00 AM–6:00 PM .
Shift flexibility.
Location:
