Bolton & Menk has an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer, PE to join our Water Resources team in our Sleepy Eye office. We are looking to add a Water Resources Project Engineer, PE who will help foster our mission that All People Should Live in Safe, Sustainable and Beautiful Communities. As a Water Resources Project Engineer, you will spend the majority of your time assisting project managers in design and construction phase activities on water resources and ag drainage projects. The primary focus of this position is on ag drainage storm water modeling and design projects. We take pride in our ability to provide technical planning and engineering services to make that happen. What You Will Be Doing
Perform detailed design computations. Perform preliminary layout, modeling and design. Research and prepare rough drafts of preliminary reports and feasibility studies. Assist with project design and preparation of plans and specifications and prepare cost and quantity take-off estimates. Assist with plan reviews, storm water pollution prevention plans, design of storm water facilities, storm water detention and retention design, water quality design, and storm water management planning. What We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Water Resources or Biosystems Engineering from an accredited college or university. Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.). 4+ years’ progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including hydraulic and hydrologic modeling. Experience in plan and specification development with construction contract administration. Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, GeoPAK Drainage, HydroCAD, P8 and GIS. Benefits
