Overview The Senior Director, Bentonville Commerce Media Hub Lead is the owner of Retail Media intelligence, best practices and partnerships for the Walmart, Sam’s Club, BJs and Costco, including its owned Retail Media Network and RMN partner third‑party vendors within its media ecosystem. Responsible for thought leadership, education and training internally and externally; development of standards, guidelines and templates to help drive best‑in‑class work across clients; assistance with client JBP negotiations; and facilitation of strategic partnerships.
Primary Responsibilities
Thought Leadership specific to Walmart, Sam’s Club, BJs and Costco for internal and external audiences
Retailer Media Network 101s
JBP Prep/Negotiation Guidance for internal teams and clients
Main POC for RFPs as it pertains to Walmart, Sam’s Club, BJs and Costco expertise for retail media.
Best in Class Media Planning guidance and support for Walmart, Sam’s Club, BJs and Costco
Strategic Partnership point of contact with 3P vendors that are strategic partners with Walmart Connect and MAP
Strategic Partnership point of contact with Walmart Connect, Costco and MAP inclusive of outline of strategic focus with RMNs based on agency priorities
Client Thought Leadership, Trainings and Presentations
Connector with Search, Media and eCommerce leadership for retail‑specific capabilities & partnerships along with communication of opportunities internally
Subject Matter Expert for internal teams and clients for omni‑channel planning, media planning, KPI development and recaps specific to Walmart, Sam’s Club, BJs and Costco.
Skillsets Required
Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related field
Minimum of 8 years of commerce experience at a retailer, CPG, marketing or advertising agency inclusive of shopper, ecommerce and media specific to Walmart, Sam’s Club.
Experience with retail specific media inclusive of but not limited to Retail Media Networks, retailer.com, 3P Vendors.
Demonstrated strategic thinking in development of shopper marketing omni‑channel programs, retailer.com space and management of the day‑to‑day
Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and a ‘self‑starter’ mentality with a deep sense of accountability, creativity, resourcefulness, and desire to collaborate and step in for the good of the team and agency
A wealth of industry knowledge including current trends, consumer packaged goods and retailer information, and business philosophies
Motivational leader who inspires the team to deliver top performance every day against assigned business and min 4+ years’ experience with cross‑functional team management
Dynamic personality and leadership skills, able to effectively engage, communicate and influence a variety of audiences
Collaborative approach to teamwork and problem‑solving
Sound decision‑making skills based in agency, client, and industry knowledge
Passion for business and dissatisfaction with the status quo - always thinking of ways to improve and grow
Strong listening skills and attention to detail
Superior verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Compensation Range $127,585–$165,870 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third‑party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
